Ich habe wirklich Angst davor, diesen Kommentar zu schreiben. Und darin liegt auch das Problem.
So viele meiner Freunde sind letzte Nacht nach Tel Aviv gefahren, um gegen die Regierung und ihre Reformvorschläge zu protestieren. Soweit so gut. So sieht eben eine Demokratie aus, die die Möglichkeit, ja das Recht bietet zu protestieren.

Aber kann ich mit demselben Recht gegen Teile dieses Protests protestieren, ohne nicht sofort gecancelt oder gehasst zu werden? Hier ist das Problem. Sie gingen auf die Straße aus Angst, dass die neue rechte Regierung das Ende der israelischen Demokratie bedeuten könnte. Aber… Demokratie hat auch ihre Grenzen und manche Menschen sind so tolerant, so offen, dass gleich ihr Gehirn mit herausgefallen zu sein scheint.

In welchem Universum, auf welchem Planeten ist es normal, dass Menschen bei einem Protest offen die Flaggen des Feindes schwenken und niemand etwas sagt?! Jetzt weiß ich, was als nächstes kommt, weil wir schon einmal an diesen Punkt angelangt waren. “Du lügst. Es war ein friedlicher Protest. Nur ein paar Verrückte waren mit palästinensischen Fahnen unterwegs.“ Okay, einverstanden, könnte sein. „Nur“ 20 Menschen schwenkten palästinensische Fahnen. Nicht 20? 10? 5? Einer?? Aber, einer ist, einer zu viel. Mehr noch. Jeder , der in der Nähe dieser einen Person stand, diese Flagge gesehen und nichts gesagt hat, ist ebenso schuldig. Abraham Accords: UAE holds the first Financial Dialogue with Israel – D/E

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen means of commercial and economic cooperation with various countries of the world, the UAE, represented by the Ministry of Finance, held the first Financial Dialogue with the Ministry of Finance of Israel.

The dialogue session was held virtually and sought to boost cooperation ties and encourage innovation in the field of financial services between the two countries.

His Excellency Younis Haji Al Khoori, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, headed the UAE delegation. From the Israeli side, Ms. Shira Greenberg – The Chief Economist, Director of state Revenue, Research, and International Affairs, at the Ministry of Finance, in addition to senior officials from both parties. Israel: Public Tourism Infrastructure gets NIS 340 million – D/E

Absolut necessary to improve and modernize the public tourism infrastructures. At large, the infrastructure in Israel needs general modernizations and improvements like streets or internet, or 5G. The deficits even hamper the development and pace of innovation as reported by VonNaftali.

The ministry’s Development Budget Committee approved the support budget for 2022 that will assist in the establishment of dozens of projects in local authorities: parking lots, promenades, bridges, sound and light shows, renovating markets and public spaces, unique lighting, trails, parks, observation points and more.

Tourism Minister Haim Katz: “Improvement of infrastructure and beautification upgrades the tourist experience and encourages returning tourism.
